I want you to take a minute and think of how fulfilled you feel lately.
Don’t compare it to circumstances like how much money is in your bank account or how good things have been going with your kids or marriage, but take a minute to close your eyes right now and think of how fulfilled your soul feels.

Where are you at on a scale of 1 to 10?
Also, another question… what has God told you to do deep down in your soul but fear is holding you back from doing it?
Sadly, this is most of the world. We would rather struggle, hustle, work and sacrifice instead of just pray and focus on the right things to do. Our focus is completely off of what’s important, and is on all the things of this world like having more “stuff”. We think if we have more stuff we will feel better and be able to begin focusing on the things we know we need to. But the stuff is never enough and therefore you never are able to focus on the things that truly matter, like family, purpose, fulfillment, and growing closer to Christ.

Do you know that it is Satan's goal to isolate, divide and destroy relationships in your life that bring you closer to the intention of God?

So many people ask me how to pray and although there are a ton of acronyms that help you get “through the list” of prayers, learning to pray doesn’t start with the words you use to talk to God.
 
Praying begins with surrendering control and relying on God.
 
If you aren’t aware of the need for Him to answer your prayers and help you, then you will never come to Him with a humble heart asking for help.
 
After you learn how to do that, then you can begin praying and asking God to help you.
